From the source of the River Enns on the “Ennskraxn” in Flachauwinkl to the confluence with the Danube downriver from Linz, with an altitude difference of only 900 metres in the entire length.
Flachau is a real paradise for cyclists for single stages or tours of several days with differing degrees if difficulty.

Alpine huts and alpine meadows

A cosy stop on one of the numerous alpine meadows follows a strenuous climb. Well refreshed by the delicacies served by the hut landlord, the descent into the valley is easier.

Flachau has two available – both bathing lakes with drinking-water quality invite one to splash in the water and to laze on the air mattresses – admission free.
